This sculpture is of a Female Torso..... I first began by drawing up a variety of sketches of the female torso, this helped me with applying proportion to my sculpt and it has gave me some visual reference, to work from. This Sculpt was made from Ceramic Clay, which was fired in a kiln.... The final finish was the natural clay coated with a layer of PVA glue and water mix.... This provided a seal on the clay. But allowed the natural colours to come through... |
